Shipping
All products purchased from our online store are made to order. We will deliver your purchases within 3-5 working days from placement of your order. You will be notified via e-mail of the delivery timeframe directly from our courier partner.
Should an item be delayed for any reason you will be notified by our team as early as possible to avoid any inconvenience.
DELIVERY CHARGES
Free Delivery on purchases over R500 and standard delivery nationwide of R90.00 for orders below R500.
Returns will be for your account unless the product has been damaged. Please see our returns policy.
DELIVERY AREAS
THE PERFUME COMPANY only delivers to addresses in South Africa. If you live on a farm or in a rural area, please select a Pudo Locker near you for easy collection.
RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address and contact number at which the goods can be accepted for delivery on weekdays during normal working hours of 8am to 5pm. THE PERFUME COMPANY does not accept responsibility for failed delivery due to unavailability to sign for and accept delivery.
If there is no-one to take receipt of the delivery on the first attempt, we will endeavour to contact you telephonically or by email to make alternative arrangements. The courier company will attempt to make the delivery once more. If there is still no-one to accept delivery, the goods will be returned to THE PERFUME COMPANY and new delivery instructions will be requested for your account. The same applies should you not collect your PUDO delivery within the 36-hour timeframe.
Returns & Refunds
Because each perfume is hand blended and shipped immediately, your fragrance may not yet have had time to fully mature. If your perfume smelly different than expected on arrival, place it in the refrigerator overnight before applying. This will allow the scent to develop its full character for you to enjoy.
We hope you will be delighted with your fragrances. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you may return any item within 7 days of receipt at your own cost, provided it is unused, in its original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
If you notice that any products in your order are damaged upon delivery, we will gladly replace them. To process a replacement, you will need to provide photographs of the damaged items as proof.
Please note that all refunds will be processed minus any transaction fees, courier costs, and administrative fees incurred.
